We lovingly train troubled boys to choose a different path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you are looking for boys ranch in Cleveland, Ohio, consider that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch could possibly be precisely what you are searching for, since getting away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away–apart from the effect of friends and familiar places—could be just the thing to motivate a transformation. Parents from across the nation, including Cleveland, Ohio, select Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for their boys.
Since we became the very first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been assisting families for more than five decades. We feel that a relationship with Jesus is the primary avenue for change in the lives of the young men we serve. Every major portion of our program is biblically-based. We feel that centering our program on Christ is the reason so many young men are finding success here, even where other programs have failed.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low in order that boys receive plenty of supervision and individual attention. Our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED LEARNING — Our outdoor adventure program is second to none. Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and spelunking (cave exploration). Students are challenged physically and learn the importance of goals and perseverance.
PRIVACY FOR EACH BOY — Rather than housing all the boys in a large dorm filled with bunk beds, our students have their own bedrooms, separate from the noise and influence of the other boys.
FAMILY VISITS — Residents are allowed to visit family on normal scheduled breaks.
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat addictions to alcohol or drugs, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
EXTENSIVE AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After completion of Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, boys return home followed by a strong aftercare program to continue their positive growth. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
Education means a great deal to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for Boys, because we find that education strongly supports future success. In our private school with fully accredited courses, students complete courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to help those who are struggling. We offer a GED opportunity for those with not enough credits to finish high school in an appropriate time frame. Credits earned can transfer to private or public schools at home. Boys can also learn basic vocational skills for example woodworking, basic electrical, construction and carpentry, shop skills, basic automotive, and others.
Teens at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch participate in many recreational activities, both on and off campus. We run an adventure program. Besides being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and dealing well with others.
Many teens have put their lives back on track and have gone on to make a difference for Christ after successfully finishing Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for Boys. We value education and academic success, considering it key to long-term life success. Most of our staff have advanced degrees. Many of the students who come here lack sufficient high school credit to obtain their diplomas in a timely manner, but we help them get caught up and even to retake classes for a higher GPA. Every boy on campus is taught and tutored several hours each day. Our disciplined and structured approach to learning, with individualized academic goals and progress, helps the boys get back on track with their education and our courses are fully accredited and transferrable.
