Teen Challenge enrolls boys from North Dakota on its Arkansas campus. This Christian rehab for teenagers is exceptional in that it has private bedrooms, an awesome wilderness therapy program, and it also solves behavioral problems.
We provide a protective, structured, and nurturing environment in which addicted boys from North Dakota grow academically and behaviorally. They will also learn practical life skills, develop character, and develop healthy relationships with others. Addiction therapy here aims to identify underlying reasons for the repetition of inappropriate behaviors and addictions. We utilize adventure-based therapy, a proven curriculum, and continuous individual and group addiction counseling. As a result of these therapies, students replace their old ways of thinking and behaving with a new sense of drive and positivity.
For most students who enter our program, harmful behaviors are driven by the substances they are abusing, from alcohol and marijuana to various illicit drugs. In any case, they have given in to unhealthy and extremely harmful methods of dealing with life. Substances and adrenaline-seeking behaviors have become the boy’s coping mechanism for dealing with the ordinary stresses of life. After the addictions are under control, we introduce each boy to new, healthy ways of coping with difficulties.
Spiritual principles such as honesty, integrity, and compassion are also taught to the boys and modelled by peers and staff. Boys are encouraged to trust God and seek His purpose in their lives. When students embrace these concepts, the obsession with drugs and alcohol will be lifted and they will be free to resume lives as happy, productive members of society.
If your son is struggling with drugs and/or behavioral issues, we can help turn his life around. Although we are not located in , North Dakota, it is ideal for a boy to be separated from his negative peer influences in his home city, so the distance is a plus. At this facility, he will learn how to conquer his struggles and develop healthy relationships. For more information about this Christian rehab for teens, located in Arkansas, please contact us.
Since we became the initial residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been offering hope to families for over 40 years. We believe that centering our program on Christ explains why numerous teenagers have found deliverance from addictions here, even where other rehab programs have failed.
After completion of our Christian rehab, boys go home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to help them continue to grow. Aftercare is included without added cost in our normal tuition package.
Academics mean a lot to us, because we find that education holds the key to future success. In our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, students work on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to aid those who are struggling. Credits earned can easily transfer to private or public schools at home. Boys can also learn basic vocational skills for example woodworking, basic electrical, construction and carpentry, shop skills, basic automotive, and others. After completing our rehab, boys may decide to continue their classwork at home through the online Alpha Omega Academy that we use.
We would like to talk with you to determine if our program is the right fit for your son. Please read the rest of our website and use our inquiry form or call us today.

North Dakota is a state located in the Midwestern region of the United States of America, along the Canadian border. The state is bordered by Canada to the north, Minnesota to the east, South Dakota to the south and Montana to the west. North Dakota is the 19th most extensive, but the 3rd least populous and the 4th least densely populated of the 50 United States. North Dakota was created from the northern portion of the Dakota Territory and admitted to the Union on November 2, 1889, simultaneously with South Dakota.
The state capital is Bismarck and the largest city is Fargo. The primary public universities are located in Grand Forks and Fargo. The U.S. Air Force operates air bases at Minot AFB and Grand Forks AFB.
For more than a decade, the state has had a strong economy, with unemployment lower than the national average, job and population growth, and low housing vacancies. Much of the growth has been based on development of the Bakken oil shale fields in the western part of the state, but it has also had growth in the technology and service sectors. Flooding in June 2011 has caused extensive damage to Minot and threatened Bismarck, the capital city.
