Teen Challenge helps boys from Oklahoma on its Arkansas campus. This Christian rehab for teenagers is exceptional in that it has private bedrooms, an exciting wilderness therapy program, and it also solves behavioral problems.
We provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment in which addicted boys from Oklahoma grow academically and behaviorally. They will also learn valuable life skills, develop character, and create healthy relationships with others. Addiction therapy here seeks to target underlying reasons for the re-occurrence of damaging behaviors and addictions. We employ adventure-based therapy, a proven curriculum, and ongoing individual and group addiction counseling. As a result of such therapies, students replace their old ways of thinking and behaving with a new sense of purpose and positivity.
For most boys who enter our program, harmful actions are driven by the substances they are abusing, from alcohol and pot, to harder illicit drugs. Regardless, they have given in to unhealthy and extremely harmful methods of coping with life. Drugs or alcohol and adrenaline-seeking activities have become the boy’s coping mechanism for handling the ordinary rigors of life. After the addictions are under control, we introduce each boy to new, healthy ways of coping with struggles.
Spiritual principles such as honesty, integrity, and compassion are also taught to the boys and modeled by peers and staff. Boys are encouraged to trust God and seek His purpose in their lives. When students grab ahold of these concepts, the obsession with drugs and alcohol will be lifted and they will be able to resume lives as happy, productive members of society.
If your boy is struggling with drugs and/or behavioral troubles, we can help turn his life around. Although we are not located in , Oklahoma, it is ideal for a boy to be removed from his negative peer influences in his home city, so the distance is a plus. At this program, he will learn how to overcome his struggles and develop healthy relationships. For more information about this Christian rehab for teens, located in Arkansas, please contact us.
Since we became the first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been offering hope to families for upwards of 40 years. We believe that centering our program on Christ is the reason so many teenage boys have realized deliverance from addictions here, even where other rehab programs have failed.
After successfully finishing our Christian rehab, boys go back home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to continue their positive growth. Aftercare is included without added cost in our normal tuition package.
Education means much to us, because we find that education is critical for future success. In our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, boys complete courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to aid those who need it. Credits earned can easily transfer to public or private schools at home. Boys may also study basic vocational skills including woodworking, basic electrical, construction and carpentry, shop skills, basic automotive, and others. After graduating from our rehab, boys may decide to continue their classwork at home through the online Alpha Omega Academy that we use.
We would like to talk with you to help you decide if our program is a good option for your son. Please read the rest of our website and use our inquiry form or call us today.

Oklahoma is a state located in the South Central region of the United States of America. Oklahoma is the 20th most extensive and the 28th most populous of the 50 United States. The state’s name is derived from the Choctaw words okla and humma, meaning “red people”, and is known informally by its nickname, The Sooner State. Formed by the combination of Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory on November 16, 1907, Oklahoma was the 46th state to enter the union. Its residents are known as Oklahomans or, informally “Okies”, and its capital and largest city is Oklahoma City.
A major producer of natural gas, oil, and agriculture, Oklahoma relies on an economic base of aviation, energy, telecommunications, and biotechnology. It has one of the fastest growing economies in the nation, ranking among the top states in per capita income growth and gross domestic product growth. Oklahoma City and Tulsa serve as Oklahoma’s primary economic anchors, with nearly 60 percent of Oklahomans living in their metropolitan statistical areas.
With small mountain ranges, prairie, and eastern forests, most of Oklahoma lies in the Great Plains and the U.S. Interior Highlandsa region especially prone to severe weather. In addition to having a prevalence of German, Irish, English, Scottish, and Native American ancestry, more than 25 Native American languages are spoken in Oklahoma, the most of any state. It is located on a confluence of three major American cultural regions and historically served as a route for cattle drives, a destination for southern settlers, and a government-sanctioned territory for Native Americans. Part of the Bible Belt, widespread belief in evangelical Christianity makes it one of the most politically conservative states, though Oklahoma has more voters registered with the Democratic Party than with any other party.
