Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch admits boys from Kentucky and across the nation on its Arkansas campus. It is unique from all other Teen Challenge programs in that it has private bedrooms for each of the boys. It also features an exciting wilderness program, mission trips and equine therapy.
For teen boys with anger, emotional issues, depression, behavioral problems, legal problems, or substance abuse, we can help. The ability to choose a new direction is possible through this Teen Challenge program for adolescent boys. We lovingly train struggling boys to choose a different path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you are interested in a Teen Challenge for your boy in Kentucky, be aware that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch could possibly be precisely what you are interested in. Located in Arkansas, it may be a distance from Kentucky, but that may be a good thing. Boys in need of intervention may need to get away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away and the influences of friends there.
Since we became the very first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been offering hope to families for upwards of 40 years. A relationship with Christ is the surest way to a lasting difference in the lives of the teenage boys. Every main part of our Teen Challenge program is biblically-based.
Several factors show the difference between Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch and other similar programs:
MUCH LOWER COST! Teen Challenge is a fraction of the cost of other therapeutic programs.
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat substance abuse, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
6-MONTH AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After successfully finishing this Teen Challenge, boys go back home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to continue the forward momentum. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low to ensure that boys have plenty of supervision and individual attention. Also, our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED THERAPY — Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor trips and activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and hiking, climbing and cave exploration. Boys are challenged physically and learn the importance of responsibility, goals and perseverance.
Academics mean a great deal to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, because we feel education holds the key to future success. While enrolled in our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, students work on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to aid those who are struggling.
Parents from around the country, including Kentucky, select Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for their son.
Boys at Teen Challenge engage in a variety of recreational activities, both on and off campus. We run an adventure program second to none. Besides being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and working well with others.
Many teens have turned their lives around and have gone on to make an impact for Christ after successfully finishing Teen Challenge. We would love to talk with you to help you decide if our boarding school is a good option for your son. Whether you select Teen Challenge, a school in Kentucky, or another program, we hope your family can experience the restoration that Christ can bring. |More about Teen Challenge in Kentucky: |
Kentucky is a state located in the East Central United States of America. As classified by the United States Census Bureau, Kentucky is a Southern state, more specifically in the East South Central region. Kentucky is one of four U.S. states constituted as a commonwealth (the others being Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts). Originally a part of Virginia, in 1792 Kentucky became the 15th state to join the Union. Kentucky is the 37th most extensive and the 26th most populous of the 50 United States.
Kentucky is known as the “Bluegrass State”, a nickname based on the fact that bluegrass is present in many of the pastures throughout the state, based on the fertile soil. It made possible the breeding of high-quality livestock, especially thoroughbred racing horses. It is a land with diverse environments and abundant resources, including the world’s longest cave system, Mammoth Cave National Park; the greatest length of navigable waterways and streams in the contiguous United States; and the two largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River. It is also home to the highest per capita number of deer and turkey in the United States, the largest free-ranging elk herd east of Montana, and the nation’s most productive coalfield. Kentucky is also known for horse racing, bourbon distilleries, bluegrass music, automobile manufacturing, tobacco and college basketball.
