Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch helps boys from Michigan and across the nation on its Arkansas campus. It is exceptional from all other Teen Challenge programs in that it has private bedrooms for each of the boys. It also features top academics, licensed addiction treatment (insurance accepted), an awesome wilderness adventure program, mission trips, and equine therapy.
For teen boys experiencing anger, emotional issues, depression, behavioral problems, legal issues, or substance abuse, we can help. The ability to choose a new life is available through this Teen Challenge program for adolescent boys. We lovingly train at-risk boys to choose a different path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you are searching for a Teen Challenge for your boy in Michigan, take into account that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch could be precisely what you need. Located in Arkansas, it may be a distance from Michigan, but that may be a good thing. Boys needing intervention may need to get away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away and the negative impact of friends there.
Since we became the very first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been offering hope to families for several decades. A relationship with Jesus Christ is the primary avenue for change in the lives of the teenagers. Every main element of our Teen Challenge program is biblically-based.
A few factors distinguish Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch from other similar programs:
MUCH LOWER COST! Teen Challenge is a fraction of the cost of other therapeutic programs.
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat addictions to alcohol or drugs, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
6-MONTH AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After successfully finishing this Teen Challenge, boys go home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to help them continue to grow. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low to ensure boys receive lots of supervision and individual attention. Also, our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED THERAPY — Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor trips and activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and hiking, climbing and cave exploration. Boys are challenged physically and learn the importance of responsibility, goals and perseverance.
Education means a great deal to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, because we find that education holds the key to future success. In our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, boys work on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to help those who are struggling.
Parents from across the nation, including Michigan, decide on Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for their sons.
Boys at Teen Challenge take part in a variety of recreational activities, both on and off campus. We facilitate an adventure program second to none. As well as being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and cooperating well with others.
Many young men have turned their lives around and have gone on to make a difference for Christ after successfully finishing Teen Challenge. We would like to talk with you to help you decide if our boarding school is a good fit for your son. Whether you select Teen Challenge, a school in Michigan, or another alternative, we hope your family can experience the restoration that Christ can bring. |More about Teen Challenge in Michigan: |
Michigan is a U.S. state located in the Great Lakes Region of the United States of America. The name Michigan is the French form of the Ojibwa word mishigamaa, meaning “large water” or “large lake”. Michigan is the 11th most extensive and the 8th most populous of the 50 United States.
Michigan has the longest freshwater coastline of any political subdivision in the world, being bounded by four of the five Great Lakes, plus Lake Saint Clair. Michigan is one of the leading U.S. states for recreational boating. The state has 64,980 inland lakes and ponds. A person in the state is never more than six miles (10 km) from a natural water source or more than Convert from a Great Lakes shoreline. It is the largest state by total area east of the Mississippi River.
Michigan is the only state to consist entirely of two peninsulas. The Lower Peninsula, to which the name Michigan was originally applied, is often noted to be shaped like a mitten. The Upper Peninsula (often referred to as “The U.P.”) is separated from the Lower Peninsula by the Straits of Mackinac, a five-mile (8 km)-wide channel that joins Lake Huron to Lake Michigan. The two peninsulas are connected by the Mackinac Bridge. The Upper Peninsula is economically important due to its status as a tourist destination. There are also a variety of natural resources to be found there, including a sizable amount of iron ore.
