Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch enrolls boys from New Hampshire and across the nation on its Arkansas campus. It is exceptional from all other Teen Challenge programs in that it has private bedrooms for each of the boys. It also features an exciting wilderness program, mission trips and equine therapy.
For teen boys dealing with anger, emotional issues, depression, behavioral problems, legal issues, or drug use, we can help. The ability to choose a new path is available through this Teen Challenge program for adolescent boys. We lovingly train wayward boys to choose a better path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you are looking for a Teen Challenge for your boy in New Hampshire, be aware that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch might be exactly what you need. Located in Arkansas, it may be a distance from New Hampshire, but that may be a good thing. Boys in need of intervention may need time away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away and the negative impact of friends there.
As the initial residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been offering hope to families for several decades. A relationship with Jesus is the surest way to a lasting difference in the lives of the teenagers. Every significant component of our Teen Challenge program is biblically-based.
A few factors distinguish Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch from other similar programs:
MUCH LOWER COST! Teen Challenge is a fraction of the cost of other therapeutic programs.
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat addictions to alcohol or drugs, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
6-MONTH AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After successfully finishing this Teen Challenge, boys go back home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to help them continue to grow. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low in order that boys get a lot of supervision and one-on-one attention. Also, our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED THERAPY — Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor trips and activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and hiking, climbing and cave exploration. Boys are challenged physically and learn the importance of responsibility, goals and perseverance.
Education means a great deal to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, because we think education is critical for future success. In our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, boys work on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to assist those who are struggling.
Parents from around the nation, including New Hampshire, decide on Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for their sons.
Teens at Teen Challenge take part in numerous recreational activities, both on and off campus. We operate an adventure program second to none. In addition to being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and working well with others.
Many boys have put their lives back on track and have gone on to make a difference for Christ after graduating from Teen Challenge. We would like to talk with you to help you decide if our boarding school is a good option for your son. Whether you choose Teen Challenge, a school in New Hampshire, or another program, we hope your family can find the healing that Christ can bring. |More about Teen Challenge in New Hampshire: |
New Hampshire is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States of America. The state was named after the southern English county of Hampshire. It is bordered by Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. New Hampshire is the 5th least extensive and the 9th least populous of the 50 United States.
It became the first post-colonial sovereign nation in the Americas when it broke off from Great Britain in January 1776, and six months later was one of the original thirteen states that founded the United States of America. In June 1788, it became the ninth state to ratify the United States Constitution, bringing that document into effect. New Hampshire was the first U.S. state to have its own state constitution.
It is known internationally for the New Hampshire primary, the first primary in the U.S. presidential election cycle. Concord is the state capital, while Manchester is the largest city in the state. It has no general sales tax, nor is personal income (other than interest and dividends) taxed at either the state or local level.
Its license plates carry the state motto: “Live Free or Die”. The state’s nickname, “The Granite State”, refers to its geology and its tradition of self-sufficiency.
Among prominent individuals from New Hampshire are founding father Nicholas Gilman, Senator Daniel Webster, Revolutionary War hero John Stark, editor Horace Greeley, founder of the Christian Science religion Mary Baker Eddy, poet Robert Frost, astronaut Alan Shepard, and author Dan Brown. New Hampshire has produced one president: Franklin Pierce.
With some of the largest ski mountains on the East Coast, New Hampshire’s major recreational attractions include skiing, snowmobiling and other winter sports, hiking and mountaineering, observing the fall foliage, summer cottages along many lakes and the seacoast, motor sports at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and Motorcycle Week, a popular motorcycle rally held in Weirs Beach near Laconia in June. The White Mountain National Forest links the Vermont and Maine portions of the Appalachian Trail, and boasts the Mount Washington Auto Road, where visitors may drive to the top of Convert Mount Washington.
