As the first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been assisting families for more than five decades. We are certain that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the primary avenue for change in the lives of the boys we serve. Every major component of our program is biblically based. We feel that centering our program on Christ is the reason so many boys have found success here, even where other programs didn’t work.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low to ensure that boys receive an abundance of supervision and one-on-one attention. Our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED LEARNING — Our outdoor adventure program is second to none. Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and spelunking (cave exploration). Students are challenged physically and learn the importance of goals and perseverance.
MORE PRIVACY FOR EACH BOY — Rather than housing all the boys in a large dorm filled with bunk beds, our students enjoy their own bedrooms, separate from the noise and influence of the other boys.
MORE FAMILY VISITS — Residents are allowed to visit family on normal scheduled breaks.
MORE ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat substance abuse, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
EXTENSIVE AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After graduation from Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, boys go home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to continue the forward momentum. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.

In our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, boys work on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to help those who are struggling.
