Who Makes a Good Referral?
Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch is a great fit for a teen boy, 14-17, who is struggling with emotional, behavioral, or spiritual challenges that go beyond what a family can manage at home or through outpatient therapy. This may include depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, defiance, or self-destructive patterns that threaten his future.

How long do clients stay at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch?
We provide long-term placements between 3-9 months depending on treatment needs. Our unique residential model provides RTC, PHP, and IOP levels of care combined with a residential program so that clients remain on campus for the duration of their individualized treatment plan.
Is Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch a licensed program?
Yes. Our facility is a state-licensed adolescent residential facility and substance use treatment center. We are also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Residential Facilities (CARF) and Adult & Teen Challenge USA. This means that four separate outside entities provide regulatory oversight for our campus and the services we provide.
Do you provide clinically recognized treatment?
Yes. Our onsite clinical team is intentionally multidisciplinary, offering masters-level licensed therapists, board-certified psychiatric practitioners, and registered nurses working together to stabilize and treat clients with mental and behavioral health conditions using effective, evidence-based modalities with a trauma-informed approach.
Is Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch a Christian program?
Yes. Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch combines evidence-based clinical treatment with a faith-integrated approach in a Christ-centered environment. Our therapeutic services are supplemented by opportunities to explore and grow in faith, including chapels, bible studies, discipleship, and local/global missions work.
Do you bill insurance?
Yes. Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch works with most commercial insurance providers across the US. We are not able to accept Medicaid.
