Levels of Care
Residential Treatment Center
RTC provides the most intensive level of care in our facility. Daily schedules focus on intensive therapeutic services with 24-hour clinical services. During this period of treatment, the goal is safety and stabilization.
Partial Hospitalization Program
PHP provides structured therapeutic services alongside academic and supplemental growth activities. Daily schedules focus on balancing treatment with skill building so that clients can begin to work toward recovery.
Intensive Outpatient Program
IOP provides structured growth opportunities with the support of therapeutic services. At this level of care, clients begin to focus on academics and individual interests. They remain on campus while receiving outpatient therapeutic services.
Therapy for Emotional Regulation in Teen Boys
Therapy for emotional regulation in teen boys focuses on helping young men gain control over intense feelings and reactions. Many teen boys struggle with frustration, anger, anxiety, or shutting down, and emotional regulation therapy gives them tools to cope in real time. Through structured teen counseling, mindfulness practices, and evidence-based therapies, boys learn how to pause, think, and respond instead of reacting impulsively. Therapy for emotional regulation also strengthens problem-solving skills, improves communication, and supports healthier relationships at home and school. As teen boys build emotional awareness and self-control, they become better equipped to handle stress and make positive choices.
Full-Time Skilled Nursing & Medication Management
In partnership with Johnson Behavioral Health and our onsite full-time nursing staff, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch is able to safely and effectively manage perscription medications to aid in stabilization and recovery for our clients.
Is a Referral Required for Placement at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch?
Not necessarily. A parent can seek placement for a teen without a medical referral, but we strongly recommend starting with outpatient therapy. A licensed mental health professional will be able to assess the risks and benefits of placement specific to the mental or emotional needs of the teen. We have a comprehensive application and intake process that will walk you through determining if your teen is a good fit for our program and what outcomes you can expect from treatment.
