Every Soul Matters and Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch Team Up to Fight Hunger
Fayetteville, Ark – Two local non-profit organizations are coming together to fight food insecurity on the third Saturday of each month in Northwest Arkansas.
According to a nationwide study (2021), 15% of Arkansans experience food insecurity–that’s 50% higher than the national average. In Washington County, that’s about 37,500 people. Every Soul Matters Ministry in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides monthly food distribution and ministry outreach to fight food insecurity in the local community.
This ministry will join forces with Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch in Morrow, Arkansas through Project Reach–an initiative of the Global Teen Challenge program aimed at mobilizing Teen Challenge centers across the US to get involved in local communities.
Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch is a faith-based residential therapy program serving teen boys struggling with life-controlling issues. For 50 years, TCAR has been helping teens find their identity through Christ to overcome challenges.
This partnership will extend the reach of Every Soul Matters ministry outreach beyond Walker Park in Fayetteville and into the neighborhoods where nearly 1 in 5 children go hungry, delivering food boxes to families in need and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through purposeful outreach.
This outreach has been made possible through grant funding provided by the “Nourish Our Community” grant program through the Conagra Brands Foundation.
