Welcome to Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch

boys ranch

Justin Smith, CEO & Executive Director

Our exciting academy provides a place for families to get help for their boys struggling with addiction or behavioral issues when all else has failed. We provide a structured but adventure-filled environment, a loving Christian atmosphere, and expert intervention for behavioral issues and addictions. By God’s grace, we have seen even the most oppositional boys transform their lives and become young men of character and integrity. We are the country’s oldest Teen Challenge adolescent program, established in 1973.

We have an amazing, dedicated team of Christian professionals on staff and a unique adventure academy. Our staff outnumbers the students. You won’t find a better-staffed program anywhere else, and everyone here considers their work a life calling, not just a job.

boys ranchboys ranchWe work hard to ensure that our program offers highly skilled and certified services, especially regarding addiction treatment and behavioral therapy. We are a licensed therapeutic program with the State of Arkansas, and we were recently awarded CARF Certification, one of the most challenging accreditation services for therapeutic programs. They check everything we do therapeutically and hold us to the highest standards.

What distinguishes a CARF-accredited organization?

Organizations that have achieved accreditation demonstrate the following:

  • A higher degree of internal quality.
  • Greater involvement of persons served in their services.
  • Increased cohesion among staff members at all levels within the organization.
  • The enhanced status of the surveyed services within the community.

When your organization is accredited, the public is assured that you are committed to continually improving the quality of your services, and your organization’s focus is on service outcomes, customer feedback, and satisfaction.

Also, our addiction treatment side is now accredited through LegitScript. It is an ongoing checking service used by major search engines to ensure that our addiction treatment services are legitimate.

boys therapeutic school

Should you need help finding boarding schools with therapy, Christian girls boarding schools near me, or Christian schools for troubled youth, please let us know. Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch is a Christian therapeutic boarding school and boys home. Boys come to our therapeutic school and home in Northwest Arkansas from across the United States. We help at-risk boys who struggle with behavioral issues. Therapeutic boarding schools and boys homes like Teen Challenge offer behavioral therapy and a rehab for troubled teen boys with teen counseling for boys. The Christian boarding school for troubled boys offers a comprehensive, faith-based program designed to help boys overcome personal and behavioral challenges.  The curriculum combines rigorous academic instruction with Christian teachings, fostering both intellectual growth and moral development. Students engage in daily chapel services, Bible study, and prayer, which help them build a strong spiritual foundation and develop a personal relationship with God. Therapeutic support is a key component of the school, addressing the underlying issues contributing to the students’ difficulties. Counselors and therapists work with the boys individually and in group settings to provide emotional support, coping strategies, and behavior modification techniques. By providing a well-rounded experience, this Christian boarding school aims to equip troubled boys with the tools they need to succeed in life and become productive, compassionate members of society. Through a combination of faith, education, and therapy, our Christian boarding school strives to transform the lives of troubled boys and set them on a positive, fulfilling trajectory.
