Healing and Hope for Thousands of Boys Over the Past Six Decades
As the first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been offering hope to families for more than five decades. We believe that a relationship with Christ is the primary avenue for a lasting difference in the lives of the teenage boys we serve. Every major portion of our program is biblically-based. We believe that centering our program on Christ is the reason countless teenage boys have discovered success here, even where other programs have failed.

MORE STAFF — First, boys receive plenty of supervision and one-on-one attention. Our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.

ADVENTURE-BASED LEARNING — Our outdoor adventure program is second to none. Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and spelunking (cave exploration). Students are challenged physically and learn the importance of goals and perseverance.

PRIVACY FOR EACH BOY — Rather than housing all the boys in a large dorm filled with bunk beds, our students can spend nights in their own bedrooms, separate from the noise and influence of the other boys.

FAMILY VISITS — Residents are allowed to make visits to home on seasonally scheduled breaks.

ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat substance abuse, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.

EXTENSIVE AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After graduation from Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, boys go home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to prevent relapse. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
The Ranch Features a Private School with Fully Accredited Courses
Education means much to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for Boys, because we think education strongly supports future success. While enrolled in our private school with fully accredited courses, boys study courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to assist those who are struggling. We offer a GED track for anyone with not enough credits to finish senior high school in an appropriate time frame. Credits earned can transfer to public or private schools at home. Boys can also learn basic vocational skills for example woodworking, basic electrical, construction and carpentry, shop skills, basic automotive, and others.
Boys at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch engage in a multitude of recreational activities, both on and off campus. We run an adventure program. As well as being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and dealing well with others.
