Nationally-Acclaimed
Adventure Ranch and Addiction Treatment Program
Our Teen Challenge Ranch program was established to help teen boys become mentally and emotionally sound, academically strong, and prepared for a positive future. Our licensed academy and addiction treatment program helps boys recover from trauma, adoption issues, negative peer influences, physical/sexual abuse, drug/substance use, online addictions, and other life-controlling mental health conditions.
Why Choose Our Behavioral Therapy Ranch or Addiction Treatment Program?
Our Therapeutic Program is CARF Accredited
Through accreditation, CARF (Commission of the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards. Accreditation is an ongoing process, signaling to the public that a service provider is committed to continuously improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community. Accreditation demonstrates a provider’s commitment to enhancing performance, managing risk, and distinguishing service delivery.
Many Insurance Providers Accept Our Treatment
Our program is a fully licensed treatment center that is eligible for insurance funding.
A Case Manager Works Directly with You and Your Boy
Your Case Manager will communicate with you and your family about your child’s progress, challenges, and other key information while enrolled at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch.
A Strong Academic Program
We have seen tremendous success in helping young men advance their education. Boys unable to achieve in other learning environments often progress at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch. Our private school offers fully accredited classes that can be transferred to other public or private schools after completing the Teen Challenge Ranch program. We also have a GED preparation track for boys who have gotten too far behind to catch up in a year. Historically, all students who have completed our GED preparation classes obtained their GED on the first testing.
Our Amazing Aftercare Program
Our unique training and certification will help your boy stay successful after he leaves Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch. Staff members will work with you to develop the best possible aftercare plan for your child, usually lasting six months. We emphasize developing a plan that prevents relapse and maintains positive future progress.
Our Christ-Centered Approach is Coupled with Professional Therapy
Our program and staff are Christian, offering a faith-based approach in everything we do. The curriculum, teaching, program format, and intervention style are all biblically based. By God’s grace, we have seen even the most oppositional boys transform their lives and become young men of character and integrity.
We Have an Experienced Team
To provide the best possible recovery and safety for your boy, we maintain a well-trained, experienced team of 50 caregivers and counselors, which offers the highest ratio of staff-to-students in the industry. Direct care staffers watch over the boys during their waking hours, with at least one staffer overseeing a maximum of 9 boys. So, if 36 boys are in a room or activity, at least four staff and usually more will always be with them. Staffers keep track of the boys around the clock, ready to handle any emergency.
Our 60-Year History of Success with Addiction Recovery
Our ranch-style campus also features a licensed addiction treatment program for boys with all addictions. Based on national and university studies on various Teen Challenge centers across the United States, the Teen Challenge Ranch program shows a high success rate compared to other teen rehabs.
Our Established Program and Organization with High Standards
Our academy for teens with behavioral issues was the very first residential center for teenage boys by Teen Challenge. We have been helping young men and their families for 50 years, continually striving to exceed all standards and creatively developing new practices for the national organization.
