Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch enrolls boys from Idaho and across the nation on its Arkansas campus. It is exceptional from all other Teen Challenge programs in that it has private bedrooms for each of the boys. It also features an exciting wilderness program, mission trips and equine therapy.
For teen boys dealing with anger, emotional issues, depression, behavioral problems, legal problems, or substance abuse, we can help. The ability to choose a new path is available through this Teen Challenge program for adolescent boys. We lovingly train wayward boys to choose a new path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you would like to find a Teen Challenge for your boy in Idaho, take into account that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch might be just what you are looking for. Located in Arkansas, it may be a distance from Idaho, but that may be a good thing. Teenage boys in need of intervention may need time away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away and the negative impact of friends there.
Since we became the initial residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been serving families for several decades. A relationship with Jesus is the best source of healing in the lives of the teenagers. Every significant component of our Teen Challenge program is biblically-based.
A number of factors distinguish Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch from other similar programs:
MUCH LOWER COST! Teen Challenge is a fraction of the cost of other therapeutic programs.
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat substance abuse, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
6-MONTH AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After successfully finishing this Teen Challenge, boys return home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to continue their positive growth. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low to ensure boys get a lot of supervision and personal attention. Also, our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED THERAPY — Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor trips and activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and hiking, climbing and cave exploration. Boys are challenged physically and learn the importance of responsibility, goals and perseverance.
PRIVACY — Rather than a large dorm filled with bunk beds, our students enjoy their own bedrooms, separate from the noise and influence of the other boys. We feel that this privacy is important.
Academics mean much to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, because we think education strongly supports future success. While enrolled in our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, students study on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to aid those who are struggling.
Parents from across the nation, including Idaho, decide on Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for their son.
Boys at Teen Challenge engage in many recreational activities, both on and off campus. We run an adventure program. Besides being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and dealing well with others.
Many teens have turned their lives around and have gone on to make an impact for Christ after completing the program at Teen Challenge. We would like to talk with you to see if our boarding school is a good option for your son. Whether you select Teen Challenge, a school in Idaho, or another alternative, we hope your family can find the healing that Christ can bring. |More about Teen Challenge in Idaho: |
Idaho is a state in the Rocky Mountain area of the United States. Idaho is the 14th most extensive, the 39th most populous, and the 7th least densely populated of the 50 United States. The state’s largest city and capital is Boise. Residents are called “Idahoans”. Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, as the 43rd state.
Idaho is a mountainous state with an area larger than that of all of New England. It is landlocked, surrounded by the states of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and the Canadian province of British Columbia. However, the network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the Pacific coast of the contiguous United States.
Idaho’s nickname is the Gem State, because nearly every known gemstone has been found there. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found (the other is the Himalaya Mountains, in Pakistan and India), and is the only place six-pointed star garnets have been found. Additionally Idaho is sometimes called the Potato State owing to its popular crop. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for “Let it be forever”).
