Teen Challenge for Boys in Nevada Who are Struggling with Life-Controlling Issues. We Make Life Change an Awarding Adventure!
Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch enrolls boys from Nevada and across the nation on its Arkansas campus. It is unique from all other Teen Challenge programs in that it has private bedrooms for each of the boys. It also features top academics, licensed addiction treatment (insurance accepted), an awesome wilderness adventure program, mission trips, and equine therapy.
For teen boys coping with anger, emotional issues, depression, behavioral problems, legal problems, or drug abuse, we can help. The ability to choose a new path is possible through this Teen Challenge program for adolescent boys. We lovingly train wayward boys to choose a better path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you are looking for a Teen Challenge for your boy in Nevada, take into account that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch could possibly be precisely what you are interested in. Located in Arkansas, it may be a distance from Nevada, but that may be a good thing. Boys needing intervention may need to get away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away and the influences of friends there.
A Long History of Hope for Hundreds of Boys from Nevada
As the very first residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been assisting families for several decades. A relationship with Jesus Christ is the surest way to transformation in the lives of the boys. Every major part of our Teen Challenge program is biblically-based.
Several factors distinguish Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch from other similar programs:
-
MUCH LOWER COST! Teen Challenge is a fraction of the cost of other therapeutic programs.
-
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat substance abuse, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
-
6-MONTH AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After completion of this Teen Challenge, boys go home accompanied by a strong aftercare program to prevent relapse. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
-
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low in order that boys get plenty of supervision and one-on-one attention. Also, our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
-
ADVENTURE-BASED THERAPY — Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor trips and activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and hiking, climbing and cave exploration. Boys are challenged physically and learn the importance of responsibility, goals and perseverance.
-
PRIVACY — Rather than a large dorm filled with bunk beds, our students enjoy their own bedrooms, separate from the noise and influence of the other boys. We feel that this privacy is important.

More about Teen Challenge in Nevada: Nevada is a state in the western, mountain west, and southwestern regions of the United States. Nevada is the 7th most extensive, the 35th most populous, and the 9th least densely populated of the 50 United States. It is the most extensive U.S. state that does not border Canada, Mexico, or an ocean. Over two-thirds of Nevada’s people live in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, which contains its three largest incorporated cities. Nevada’s capital is Carson City. Nevada is largely desert and semiarid, with much of it located within the Great Basin. Areas south of the Great Basin are located within the Mojave Desert, while Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains lie on the western edge. Approximately 86% of the state’s land is owned by the US government under various jurisdictions, both civilian and military. The name Nevada is derived from the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains, which means “snow-capped mountain range” in Spanish. The land comprising the modern state was inhabited by Native Americans of the Paiute, Shoshone, and Washoe tribes prior to European contact. It was subsequently claimed by Spain as a part of Alta California until the Mexican War of Independence brought it under Mexican control. The United States gained the territory in 1848 following its victory in the Mexican-American War and the area was eventually incorporated as part of Utah Territory in 1850. The discovery of silver at the Comstock Lode in 1859 led to a population boom that was an impetus to the creation of Nevada Territory out of western Utah Territory in 1861. Nevada became the 36th state on October 31, 1864. The establishment of legalized gambling and lenient marriage and divorce proceedings in the 20th century transformed Nevada into a major tourist destination. The tourism industry remains Nevada’s largest employer, with mining continuing to be a substantial sector of the economy as Nevada is the fourth largest producer of gold in the world. Nevada is officially known as the “Silver State” due to the importance of silver to its history and economy. It is also known as the “Battle Born State” because it achieved statehood during the Civil War and the “Sagebrush State” for the native eponymous plant. |
