Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch admits boys from Ohio and across the nation on its Arkansas campus. It is unique from all other Teen Challenge programs in that it has private bedrooms for each of the boys. It also features an exciting wilderness program, mission trips and equine therapy.
For teen boys coping with anger, emotional issues, depression, behavioral problems, legal problems, or drug abuse, we can help. The ability to choose a new path is possible through this Teen Challenge program for adolescent boys. We lovingly train struggling boys to choose a different path in life, leading them to be godly and upright young men.
If you are interested in a Teen Challenge for your boy in Ohio, take into account that Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch could be exactly what you are interested in. Located in Arkansas, it may be a distance from Ohio, but that may be a good thing. Boys in need of intervention may need to get away from your hometown — away from the negative impact of friends and familiar places — away and the influences of friends there.
As the initial residential Teen Challenge program for boys, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch has been serving families for several decades. A relationship with Jesus is the surest way to transformation in the lives of the boys. Every main element of our Teen Challenge program is biblically-based.
A number of factors show the difference between Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch and other similar programs:
MUCH LOWER COST! Teen Challenge is a fraction of the cost of other therapeutic programs.
ADDICTION TREATMENT — Our program is a licensed dual-diagnosis Addiction Treatment Center with staff expertly trained to treat addictions to alcohol or drugs, as well as harmful lifestyle addictions to gambling, pornography, or online gaming.
6-MONTH AFTERCARE PROGRAM — After successfully finishing this Teen Challenge, boys go back home followed by a strong aftercare program to help them continue to grow. Aftercare is included in our tuition package.
MORE STAFF — First, we keep student-to-staff ratios low to ensure boys get lots of supervision and personal attention. Also, our staff are highly trained and most have bachelor or master’s degrees in their area of work.
ADVENTURE-BASED THERAPY — Our students have regular opportunities to experience fun and challenging outdoor trips and activities. Students enjoy camping, backpacking, rappelling, canoeing, and hiking, climbing and cave exploration. Boys are challenged physically and learn the importance of responsibility, goals and perseverance.
Education means a lot to us at Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, because we think education is critical for future success. In our private Christian school with fully accredited classes, students work on courses led by certified teachers, with individual tutoring available to assist those who need it.
Parents from all over the country, including Ohio, select Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch for their sons.
Residents at Teen Challenge engage in numerous recreational activities, both on and off campus. We run an adventure program. As well as being fun and physically challenging for the boys, it teaches them about reaching goals, communicating and cooperating well with others.
Many teens have turned their lives around and have gone on to make a difference for Christ after successfully finishing Teen Challenge. We would be happy to talk with you to help you decide if our boarding school is the right fit for your son. Whether you select Teen Challenge, a school in Ohio, or another alternative, we hope your family can experience the restoration that Christ can bring.
